how it all began...
BOOK 1: RUN
The scientists got it wrong. Dead wrong. Groundbreaking work in genetics has unleashed something unimaginable. Something that has killed off every living thing... except humans.
Somewhere in Singapore, a 15-year-old girl wakes up with no memory. She can't remember anything, but can't shake the feeling that there is something she needs to do.
With nowhere to go and no one to trust, she joins a band of young survivors like her. Together, they must hunt for food and fight to survive. Only now, surviving isn't enough. Some adults are changing... and developing a new kind of hunger.
NOW, THEY MUST RUN
BOOK 2: HIDE
Now she remembers... but things aren’t easier.
She remembers what she has to do – and what she
discovers could hold the key to why everything on
Earth is dead. But first, she needs to decode her mom’s
bizarre and cryptic clues. Then, she needs to decide...
should she tell the group and put them at risk? Should
she set off alone or take everyone with her?
She remembers who she is, how she left Camp Zero
and where her strange abilities come from. But all
these come with memories of her past with Connor.
Must she now choose between Connor and Jae?
Out in the dead world, a horrifying new breed of
Eaters is emerging, and strange soldiers are hunting
RUNNING IS NO LONGER AN OPTION
BOOK 3: SEEK
WHEN HOPE FAILS...
Stay Safe. I’ve hidden the answer in you. You are the key
to everything. Her mother’s last message to her doesn’t
explain anything. What is she supposed to do? Where is
she expected to go?
Only one thing is clear – it is time to stop lying to her
friends, not when so much is at stake. Not when things are
getting crazier. Someone is sending more soldiers after
them. The Eaters are changing and always hungry. Her
abilities are growing in strange ways. Food is running out.
And she’s still desperately torn between the boy who was
– literally – made for her, and the boy who helped her laugh
and find herself.
As they get closer to figuring out the clues, their optimism
is shattered when one of their group dies unexpectedly.
Wracked by guilt and grief, the group takes to running
again. In the hopes of finding some answers, in the hopes
of finding some peace, they run.
